The Southern Highlands, also locally referred to as the Highlands, is a geographical region and district in New South Wales, Australia and is 110 km south-west of Sydney.

Queanbeyan

Queanbeyan is a city of 36,000 people in New South Wales that could almost be considered a suburb of Canberra. It is a 15-minute drive from Canberra.

Goulburn is a small regional city 200 km in the Southern Highlands, southwest of Sydney. With a population of 24,000, Goulburn is one of the largest cities in the region and a rural hub for surrounding agriculture.

Bundanoon

Marulan

Marulan is a town of 1,200 people in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Squeezed between the Shoalhaven Gorge to the south, and the ranges to the north, just about every trip from Sydney heading south-west towards Melbourne or Canberra must pass through Marulan.

Gundaroo

Just 30 minutes north of Canberra, Gundaroo is home to some of the region’s best examples of mid- and late 19th-century buildings and offers visitors a range of experiences—from fine food and wine to contemporary art, local produce and crafts.
