East Norway
East Norway is a region in south-eastern Norway, which contains the capital Oslo, as well as half of the country's 5 million inhabitants. Oslo

Oslo is Norway's capital and largest city, with 700,000 citizens in the city proper and about 1.5 million inhabitants in greater Oslo. It is in the East of the country in the Oslofjorden fjord, extending over an inlet of the Skagerrak strait.
Drammen

Drammen is a city in Viken, previously Buskerud, 40 km southwest of Oslo. Drammen is where the Drammen river runs into the Drammensfjord, an arm of the Oslofjord.
Lillehammer

Lillehammer is a small town in the county of Oppland in south-central Norway. The town sits at the intersection of the lake Mjøsa and Gudbrandsdalen, the great valley of East Norway.

The Oslo region is the central area of East Norway including the capital Oslo and the Akershus district surrounding it. It's a contiguous metropolitan area with more than 25% of Norway's population and the visitor can regard it as one city.

Østfold is a county in the southeastern corner of East Norway. It borders Akershus to the north and west and Sweden to the east. The name means east of the Oslofjord.

Telemark is a county in East Norway. It is a rugged area with many big lakes and picturesque valleys. The county stretches from the industrial towns along the sea through the forested hills and secluded valleys to the barren, unpopulated Hardangervidda.

Buskerud is a fylke in Norway, located west and north west of Oslo. Buskerud covers the area from the Drammensfjorden in the south, covering parts of Hardangervidda in the west, to Valdres in the north.
