Kōchi Castle is an Edo Period Japanese castle in the city of Kōchi, , Japan. It is located at Otakayama hill, at the center of Kōchi city, which in turn is located at the center of the Kōchi Plain, the most prosperous area of former Tosa Province on the island of .

Ryōma's Birthplace Memorial Museum opened in Kōchi, , Japan in 2004. It is dedicated to the life and times of Sakamoto Ryōma and to the local area of Kami-machi and Kōchi more generally during the Bakumatsu period.
