Murshidabad
Murshidabad is the largest district of West Bengal, and home to the Nawabs of Murshidabad that once ruled over Bengal, Bihar and Odisha. Although the Nawabs have been ceremonial since 1757, the district has maintained its cultural heritage dating back to the Nawab rule.Essential Destinations

Murshidabad is a historic town in central West Bengal. It was the capital of Bengal, Bihar and Odisha during the Nawab rule. The last capital city of independent Bengal was named after Nawab Murshid Quli Khan, the Diwan of Bengal, Bihar and Odisha.
