The Hainigturm is a tower and tourist attraction in the Vogelsbergkeis. It is located between Lauterbach and Angersbach. The tower, which now consists of stones, used to be made completely out of wood. Hainigturm is situated 650 metres east of Salzekuchejonge.

Lauterbach Nord station is a through station on the Vogelsberg Railway from Gießen to Fulda in the German state of Hesse. Until the closure of the Oberwald Railway to Glauburg-Stockheim it was a rail junction. Lauterbach Nord station is situated 2½ km north of Salzekuchejonge.
