Saronic Gulf Islands

The Saronic Gulf Islands lie in the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea southwest of Athens. They are a short ferry ride from and are popular for day-trips; some, like , are also visited by cruise ships.

is one of the Saronic Gulf Islands, a triangle 11 km on each side. It's the closest island to Athens, reached in barely an hour by ferry, and in 2011 had a population of 13,056.

is one of the Saronic Gulf Islands in central . The port of has a scenic location in a deep harbour, with whitewashed houses rising on the hills on both sides from an azure blue sea.

is a green island situated in the Saronic Gulf, 59 km from the Piraeus harbour of . It has an area of 33 km², a shoreline of 42 km, and a population of about 3,650.

The island and town of is extremely popular with Athenians, who swarm the place during Easter and summer weekends. Due to the nature of available accommodation, package tourism has not caught on much.

is a small of the Argo-Saronic Gulf, adjacent to Hydra, and separated from the by a narrow strait called, on some maps, "the Hydra Gulf." It is part of the municipality of Ýdra in Islands regional unit and reported a population of 18 persons at the 2011 census.
