Serra da Mantiqueira is in , its name originated from 'Amantikir' and means "mountain that cries." This is a geological formation dating from the era Archeozoic covers a massive rock that has large areas of uplands, and nearly three thousand and one thousand meters in altitude along the currencies of the states of Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
