Chernivtsi is a city in Western Ukraine. It was also previous known as Chernowitz after its German name or Chernovtsy after its Russian name.

Uzhhorod is a city in Western Ukraine, the administrative center of Zakarpatska Oblast. The population of Uzhhorod is multiethnic. The majority of the natives are Ukrainian, but there are a lot of Russians, Hungarians, Slovaks, Germans, Jews and Gypsies.

Zakarpattia Oblast, also referred to as simply Zakarpattia or Transcarpathia in English, is an oblast located in the Carpathian Mountains in west Ukraine, mostly coterminous with the historical region of Carpathian Ruthenia.

Ternopil, known until 1944 mostly as Tarnopol, is a city in western Ukraine, located on the banks of the Seret River. Ternopil is one of the major cities of Western Ukraine and the historical regions of Galicia and Podolia.

Lutsk is a city in Western Ukraine. It is the capital and the largest city of Volyn Oblast, with a population of around 221,000 as of 2022.
Ivano-Frankivsk

Khmelnytskyi

Khmelnytskyi is a city in the Podillia region of Western Ukraine. The city has a population of roughly 290,000.
Kamianets-Podilskyi

Kamianets-Podilskyi is a city on the Smotrych River in western Ukraine, to the north-east of Chernivtsi. Formerly the administrative center of Khmelnytskyi Oblast, the city is now the administrative center of Kamianets-Podilskyi Raion within the oblast.
Kolomyia

Kolomyia is a town in the Ukrainian part of East Galicia. The town is in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains and therefore often serves as a starting point for hiking or cultural site-seeing tours in the Eastern Carpathians.
Truskavets

Truskavets is in Western Ukraine. It is the original and most attractive balneological resort of Ukraine. The resort is located in a picturesque valley at the foothills of the Eastern Carpathians at the height of 350 m above sea level at a distance of 100 km from Lviv.
