Mahaffie House

The Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm Historic Site, locally known as the Mahaffie Farm, is located in Olathe, Kansas. The house was originally a stop along the Westport Route of the Santa Fe, Oregon, and California Trails, which originated in nearby Westport, Missouri.
Kansas School for the Deaf
School
The Kansas School For the Deaf, is a K-12 school, located in downtown Olathe, Kansas. In 1861, it became the first school for the deaf established in the state of Kansas, and today it remains the largest.
