Halswell Quarry Park

Halswell Quarry operated between 1861 and 1990 before becoming the 60.4 hectares Halswell Quarry Park, one of many Christchurch City Council reserves. It offers a combination of walking and mountain biking tracks, historic sites, picnic areas, botanical collections, and six sister city gardens.

Centennial Park is a public park located in the suburb of Spreydon in the southwestern part of Christchurch, New Zealand. It is bordered by Lyttelton Street to the east, Rose Street to the south, Ōpāwaho / Heathcote River to the west and Pioneer Recreation and Sport Centre to the north. Centennial Park is situated 3½ km northeast of Halswell Downs.
