Rift Valley Province of Kenya, bordering Uganda, was one of Kenya's eight provinces, before the 2013 Kenyan general election. Rift Valley Province was the largest and one of the most economically important provinces in Kenya. Kebenet is situated 6 km south of Kiptere.
Sondu
Town
Sondu is a small town border town in Kenya's Kisumu County and Kericho County.The boundary between Kisumu and Kericho counties has been contentious for years with original boundary posed to have been behind Sondu Police station which was in Kisumu District until 1992 when it was supposedly moved to Kericho District. Sondu is situated 10 km west of Kiptere.
