Ogembo is a small farming town in Kisii County, Kenya. Her inhabitants are the abagusii community. The town started around 1860 by the locals and around 1920s it became a commercial center for the Indians and a government centre for the colonial rule in the area. Ogembo is situated 9 km northeast of Gesusu.

Town
Rongo or Rongo town is located in the southwestern part of Kenya in Migori County, Kenya. It is situated approximately 30 kilometers northeast of Migori town along the Kisii-Migori highway. Rongo is situated 10 km northwest of Gesusu.
