Monastiraki is the archaeological site of an ancient Minoan town on the island of Crete. The site is on the plain of Amari, west of the Ida massif, 38 kilometres from Rethymnon.

Sybrita, or Subrita or Soubrita, or Subritus or Soubritos, or Sibyrtus or Sibyrtos, was a town of ancient Crete, 8 M. P. from , and famous for its numerous and beautiful silver coins, which, though some of them belong to a very early period, are fine specimens of a Cretan mint; the types are always connected with the worship of Dionysus or Hermes. is situated 3½ km northwest of Vistayí.
