The archaeological site of Delphi is a UNESCO World Heritage site near the modern village of the same name in West Central Greece, on the southwestern slope of Mount Parnassus, which is part of a mountain range north of the gulf of Corinth.

Pythia was the title of the high priestess of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi in central Greece. She served as its oracle and was known as the Oracle of Delphi. Delphic Sibyl is situated 3 km east of Chrisso.

Delphi Archaeological museum is one of the principal museums of Greece and one of the most visited. It is operated by the Greek Ministry of Culture. Founded in 1903, it has been rearranged several times and houses the discoveries made at the Panhellenic sanctuary of Delphi, which date from the Late Helladic period to the early Byzantine era. Delphi Museum is situated 2½ km east of Chrisso.

Itea is a seaside town in the Phocis region of West Central Greece. It is the old port-town of the nearby temple in Delphi. There is a lot of Bauxite mining in the area and this remains the primary source of economic activity for the city.
