Neo Chorio is a village located 25km southeast of Chania in the center of Apokoronas. It was named Neo Chorio because it was a new village, but it was built on the ruins of an old village which was destroyed during the raids in Crete. Neo Chorio is situated 2½ km northwest of Kaina.
