Olympos is a village and a former self-governing community on the island of Karpathos, in the Dodecanese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Karpathos, of which it is a municipal unit.

Avlona is a small village in Greece, on the island Karpathos, which is one of the Dodecanese islands. It is part of the community of Olympos. It is located in a fertile valley between Mount Oros and Mount Steoe. Avlona is situated 4 km north of Órmos Físes.
