Abae was an ancient town in the northeastern corner of ancient Phocis, in Greece, near the frontiers of the Opuntian Locrians, said to have been built by the Argive Abas, son of Lynceus and Hypermnestra, and grandson of Danaus. Abae is situated 2½ km west of Exarchos.

Kyrtoni is a village in the southeastern part of Phthiotis, Greece. It is part of the municipality of Lokroi since 2010. It was an independent commune between the 1820s and 1907, and was part the municipality of Atalanti between 1907 and 2010. Kyrtoni is situated 8 km east of Exarchos.

Atalanti is the second largest town in Phthiotis, Greece. It is located southeast of Lamia, north of Livadeia and northwest of Chalcis. In 2011, it was incorporated into the municipality of Lokroi with an area of 614.7 km2 and a population of 19,623, of which it is the government seat and a municipal unit. Atalanti is situated 9 km northeast of Exarchos.
