Located in the Oromia Special Zone Surrounding Finfinne, 37 kilometers southeast of Addis Ababa and 10 kilometers northwest of Bishoftu, this town has a latitude and longitude of and an elevation of 1950 meters above sea level. Dukem is situated 3½ km northeast of Āda’ā Bota.
