Village
Shabas ash-Shuhada is a city in Kafr el-Sheikh Governorate of Egypt. In Ptolemaic and Byzantine Egypt it was known as Kabasa or Gabasson and was a center of the Kabassite nome, which after the Muslim conquest of Egypt was transformed into a kurah. Shabas al Shuhada is situated 6 km north of Mahallat Diyay.

Sais was an ancient Egyptian city in the Western Nile Delta on the Canopic branch of the Nile, known by the ancient Egyptians as Sꜣw. It was the provincial capital of Sap-Meh, the fifth nome of Lower Egypt and became the seat of power during the Twenty-fourth Dynasty of Egypt and the Saite Twenty-sixth Dynasty of Egypt during the Late Period. Sais is situated 8 km southeast of Mahallat Diyay.
