Archeological Park of Phoinike

Phoenice or Phoenike was an ancient Greek city in Epirus and capital of the Chaonians. It is located high on an almost impregnable hill commanding the fertile valley below and near the modern town of the same name, Finiq, in southern Albania. Archeological Park of Phoinike is situated 4 km north of Vrion.
Lëkurësi Castle

Lëkurësi Castle is a ruined castle near Sarandë, southern Albania. The castle is on a strategic hill point overlooking the town of Sarandë, southeast of the town centre. From here one can control the whole town as well as the islands of Ksamil. Lëkurësi Castle is situated 2½ km southwest of Vrion.
Forty Saints Monastery

The Monastery of the Forty Saint Martyrs is a ruined Eastern Orthodox monastery overlooking the coastal city of Sarandë in southern Albania. The monastery was erected during the 6th century AD and possibly became for at least one millennium the most important pilgrimage site in the Ionian Sea region. Forty Saints Monastery is situated 2½ km west of Vrion.
