Prasonisi

Prasonisi, also known as Vryonisi, is an uninhabited Greek islet, in the Aegean Sea, close to the northern coast of eastern Crete. It is extremely small, measuring just 0.034 square kilometres in area.

Vrokastro

Vrokastro was an ancient Minoan civilization settlement in the Lasithi regional unit of eastern Crete, Greece. It overlooks the Gulf of Mirabello. The site was a mountain citadel located on a hill 1,5 km east of Priniatikos Pyrgos, another very early archaeological site.

Gournia

Gournia is the site of a Minoan palace complex in the Lasithi regional unit on the island of Crete, Greece. Its modern name originated from the many stone troughs that are at the site and its original name for the site is unknown. Gournia is situated 3½ km southeast of Prasonisi.

Priniatikos Pyrgos

Priniatikos Pyrgos is an archaeological site near the Istron River in the eastern Cretan regional unit of Lasithi. The nearest big town is Agios Nikolaos, Crete. Priniatikos Pyrgos is situated 3 km west of Prasonisi.

Kalo Chorio is a village in the municipality of Agios Nikolaos, Lasithi, Crete, Greece. Kalo Chorio village has a population of around 900, nestled in the midst of a verdant hilly landscape, where olive groves, abundant and colorful mediterranean shrubs and plants reach all the way down to the sea. Kalo Chorio is situated 4 km southwest of Prasonisi.
