Motudərə
Mutudərə is a village in the Gadabay District of Azerbaijan. The village forms part of the municipality of Isaly. Mutudərə was a very important strategic point during the Karabakh war, a target for Armenian incursions and site of a major battle on 6 August 1992.- Type: Locality

Artsvashen or Bashkend is a de jure Armenian village in the Chambarak Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. It is a 40 square kilometres exclave of Armenia, and is surrounded by the territory of Azerbaijan, whose forces have captured and occupied it since the First Nagorno-Karabakh War in 1992. Artsvashen is situated 4½ km northeast of Motudərə.
