Tokmak
Tokmak is a settlement in Uzbekistan located on the south of the Aral Sea, near the town of Moynaq. The area has a population of around 3,000. The town used to be on the coast, but because of the shrinking Aral Sea, it is now over 70 kilometers from the coast of the sea.- Type: Locality

Moynoq is a city in Karakalpakstan. This town used to be a prosperous fishing town, but since the Aral Sea disaster, it has become a poor town with lots of problems, not least health risks caused by pollution and unemployment, as fishery was the only resource.
