Shahumyan formerly known as Molla Dursun, is a village in the Armavir Province of Armenia. It was renamed after Stepan Shahumyan, an Armenian Bolshevik commissar.

Doghs is a village in the Armavir Province of Armenia. In 894, Smbat I defeated Emir Apshin of Atrapatakan in a battle at Doghs. The town's church, dedicated to Surb Stepanos, was built in the 19th century. Doghs is situated 2½ km north of Mrgastan.
