Arzni

Arzni, is a resort village in the of located on in the Hrazdan canyon. Modern village was founded on the place of old Armenian village called Arzni and mentioned by Movses Khorenatsi during the 19th century by Assyrian Christians who migrated to Eastern Armenia from Iran.

Arzni Airport is a military airport located near the town of , 13 km north of and 2 km west of Arzni. The airport serves as a training base and is attached to the Armenak Khanperyants Military Aviation University, operated by the Ministry of Defence of Armenia.
