It is situated on the right bank of the Ostyor River, a left tributary of the Sozh River, five kilometres north of the Ivatsevichy–Babruysk–Krychaw highway which leads to the Belarus-Russia border. Stary Dzyedzin is situated 4 km north of Kresovka.
