Turku Cathedral is the only medieval basilica in Finland and the Mother Church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. It is the central church of the Lutheran Archdiocese of Turku and the seat of the Lutheran Archbishop of Finland, Tapio Luoma.

Varissuo (/ˈvɑrɪs.suo/ VAH-ris-suo; Finnish: Varissuo; Swedish: Kråkkärret is a district and the largest suburb of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located seven kilometres to the east of the city centre, and is the easternmost major suburb of Turku, bordering on the neighbouring city of Kaarina. Varissuo is situated 4½ km southeast of Räntämäki.
