Lappajärvi is a municipality in Finland's South Ostrobothnia region. It is located 78 kilometres from Seinäjoki, 80 kilometres from Kokkola and 117 kilometres from Vaasa.

Sääksjärvi is a village in the Vimpeli municipality in South Ostrobothnia, Finland, located about 12 kilometres northeast of the municipal centre. The village is named after the lake of the same name, near which it is located. Sääksjärvi is situated 10 km northeast of Itäkylä.
