Vârșolț is a commune located in , , . It is composed of three villages: Recea, Recea Mică, and Vârșolț. At the 2002 census, the commune had 2,457 inhabitants, of which 64.1% were Hungarians, 32.4% Romanians, and 3.4% Roma; 58.6% were Reformed, 33.5% Romanian Orthodox, 3.5% Baptist, and 1.9% Roman Catholic.
