Hoghilag is a commune located in Sibiu County, Transylvania, central Romania. It is composed of three villages, namely: Hoghilag, Prod, and Valchid. The fortified church of Prod was demolished in 1902, while the fortified church of Valchid is still in a relatively good shape.Places of Interest

Dumbraveni is a town in the north of Sibiu County, in the centre of Transylvania, central Romania. Before 1945, it was called Ibaşfalău. The town lies on the banks of the Târnava Mare River, 20 km east from the city of Mediaş, the second largest city in the county.
