Comana is a commune in Giurgiu County, Muntenia, Romania. It is composed of five villages: Comana, Vlad Țepeș, Budeni, Falaștoaca, and Grădiștea. The commune is approximately 32 km south of Bucharest. Comana Monastery is a Romanian Orthodox monastery in Comana, Giurgiu County, Romania. The original Comana Monastery was founded in 1461. It was built by Vlad Țepeș as a monastery-fortress.
