Dăbuleni is a town of Dolj County, Oltenia, Romania. It was declared a town in 2004. One village, Chiașu, is administered by the town. Dăbuleni is known for the sandy areas surrounding it; since the 1980s, those areas have become part of an 800 km2 desert, known as the Oltenian Sahara. Dăbuleni is situated 4 km east of Călărași.

Oryahovo is a port city in northwestern Bulgaria, part of Vratsa Province. It is located in a hilly area on the right bank of the Danube, just east of the mouth of the river Ogosta, a few more kilometres downstream from where the Jiu flows into the Danube on Romanian territory. Oryahovo is situated 10 km southwest of Călărași.
