Uzhhorod is a city in Western Ukraine, the administrative center of Zakarpatska Oblast. The population of Uzhhorod is multiethnic. The majority of the natives are Ukrainian, but there are a lot of Russians, Hungarians, Slovaks, Germans, Jews and Gypsies.

Storozhnytsia is a section in the city of Uzhhorod, Ukraine. Before World War I it was a separate city in the Austria-Hungary Empire called Ordarma. Ordarma was a suburb of Ungvar, Hungary which became Uzhhorod. Before 1946, it was known as Yovra. Storozhnytsia is situated 4 km southwest of Uzhhorod Raion.

Vyšné Nemecké is a small village in the Sobrance District, Košice Region, right on the Slovak side of the main international road border with Ukraine, opposite the city of Uzhhorod. As of 2011 it had 245 inhabitants. Vyšné Nemecké is situated 3½ km north of Uzhhorod Raion.
