Bakhmach is a city located in Nizhyn Raion of Chernihiv Oblast, in northern Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Bakhmach urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. It has a population of 16,862. In 2025 the population is 16,300 people. Bakhmach is situated 8 km northwest of Tinitsa.
