Marhanets is a city in Nikopol Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. The city used to be located on the right bank of the Kakhovka Reservoir before the Reservoir’s destruction during the Russian invasion of Ukraine on the Dnieper River where the river meets one of its tributaries, the Tomakivka.

Marivka is a rural settlement in Nikopol Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. It is located on the right bank of the Dnieper, opposite to the city of Enerhodar and upstream of the city of Nikopol. Marivka is situated 4½ km south of Marhanets.
