Kovel

Kovel is a city in , northwestern . It serves as the administrative center of within the oblast. Population: 67,575. Kovel gives its name to one of the oldest runic inscriptions which were lost during World War II.

Kovel is a railway hub of the Rivne directory of Lviv Railways. Along with Zabolottia railway station also serves as a rail border checkpoint at Belarus-Ukraine border. Kovel Station also has rail yard and locomotive depot.
