Pomorie is a town and seaside resort on the southern Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, known for its deposits of "healing mud" and ancient salt works. With a population of over 14 thousand, it's tied with nearby Nesebar for being the "third largest" town on the Bulgarian coast, after the much larger Varna and Burgas.

Aheloy is a town and seaside resort in Pomorie Municipality of Burgas Province. As of 2006 it had 2,175 inhabitants. It is situated in eastern Bulgaria, on the Black Sea Coast between the major port of Burgas to the south and the bustling tourist centres Nesebar, Slanchev Bryag, and Sveti Vlas to the north. Aheloy is situated 8 km north of Lake Pomorie.
