Krasnystaw is a town in southeastern Poland with 18,630 inhabitants. It is the capital of Krasnystaw County in the Lublin Voivodeship. The town is famous for its beer festival called Chmielaki, and for its dairy products like yogurt and kefir. Krasnystaw is situated 4½ km northeast of Widniówka.
