Smolare Falls is a landform of Macedonia. Smolare is the tallest waterfall in the Republic of North Macedonia, falling from a height of 39.5 metres. It is located above the village of Smolare in the Municipality of Novo Selo in the southeastern region of the country.

Novo Selo is a large village in the southeastern part of North Macedonia. It is the administrative centre of the eponymous municipality. Located in the valley of the Strumica River 9 km from the Bulgarian border, and close to border with Greece, it has a population of 2,756 as of 2002. Novo Selo is situated 4½ km northwest of Smolari.
