Sîngerei is a city in Moldova. It is located in the north-central part of the country. It is the largest city and administrative center of Sîngerei District. Spread across an area of 83.7 km2, the town had a population of 12,465 inhabitants in 2014. Sîngerei is situated 3½ km northeast of Vrănești.
