Lappfjärd is a village in the town of Kristinestad in Ostrobothnia, Finland. It was former administrative center of the former Lappfjärd municipality. It has over 1,400 inhabitants. Lappfjärd is situated 3½ km northwest of Böle.

Karijoki is a municipality in Southern Ostrobothnia in Finland, located 25 km from the coast and 90 km south-west of Seinäjoki. With only around 1,500 inhabitants it is a small place, but it gained fame when a Neanderthal cave was discovered in 1997.
