Mashava, originally known as Mashaba, is a mining village in Masvingo Province, Zimbabwe. This city is one of many mining cities in Zimbabwe. Although there aren't many blueprints for the mines, it is still a part of Zimbabwe's economy, because of the resources that can be collected. Mashava is situated 7 km east of Shashe.
Gaths Mine

Gaths Mine is an asbestos mine in Mashava, Masvingo Province, Zimbabwe, and is located 40 km west of Masvingo city. Gaths Mine as it is now collectively known as is a combination of three mines: King Mine and the now-defunct Temeraire and Gaths. Gaths Mine is situated 10 km east of Shashe.
