Ashton is a small town in the Western Cape in South Africa. The town is at the foot of the Langeberg mountain range, 10 km southwest of Montagu and 19 km east-southeast of Robertson.

Montagu is the gateway to the Little Karoo on Route 62 between Cape Town and the Garden Route with many fine examples of Cape-Dutch architecture. This friendly country town features silent mountain sides, clear night skies, tasty food and pretty fruit and flowers.
