Horagolla National Park
Park
Horagolla National Park is one of the latest national parks in Sri Lanka. It is so called because of an abundance of Dipterocarpus zeylanicus trees. The area was originally declared as a wildlife sanctuary on 5 September 1973 due to its rich biodiversity.
Ranpokunagama Maha Vidyalaya

Ranpokunagama M. V. was founded in 1988. It is considered to be the leading Public School in Ranpokunagama. It is a Government School, meaning that it is controlled by the government as opposed to the Provincial Council and provides only the secondary education.
