Kasol is a hamlet in the Kullu district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated in Parvati Valley, on the banks of the Parvati River between Bhuntar and Manikaran. Kasol is situated 3½ km southwest of Manikaran.

Malana is an ancient Indian village in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The only village in the Malana Nala, a side valley of the Parvati Valley northeast of the Kullu Valley, it is shadowed by the peaks of Chanderkhani and Deo Tibba. Malāna is situated 9 km northwest of Manikaran.
