Umananda Island

Umananda Island is the smallest inhabited river islet in the middle of river Brahmaputra, flowing through the city of Guwahati in Assam, a state in northeast India. Umananda Island is situated 3½ km south of Bar Nadī.

Umananda Devaloi is a Shiva temple located on the Umananda Island in the middle of the river Brahmaputra, Assam. Brahmaputra just opposite the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup or the Kachari Ghat in Guwahati. Umananda Temple is situated 3½ km south of Bar Nadī.
