The National Palace Museum, also known as Taipei Palace Museum, is a national museum headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan. Founded in Beijing in 1925, the museum was re-established in Shilin, Taipei, in 1965, later expanded with a southern branch in Taibao, Chiayi, in 2015. National Palace Museum is situated 2½ km southwest of Weilun.

The Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines is the first private museum dedicated to the culture and history of the Taiwanese indigenous peoples. It is located just 200 metres diagonally across from the National Palace Museum in Shilin District, Taipei, Taiwan. Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines – Fine Arts is situated 2½ km southwest of Weilun.
