The Chelungpu Fault Preservation Park is a park in Zhushan Township, Nantou County, Taiwan established to commemorate the 21 September 1999 earthquake. It is the subordinate park to the National Museum of Natural Science.

Mingjian Township is a rural township in western Nantou County, Taiwan. It is the second smallest township in the county, after Jiji Township. Mingjian is situated 6 km north of Mujiliao.

Lugu Township is a rural township located in the southwest of Nantou County, Taiwan. Lugu is known as the home of Dongding Oolong Tea, which was first cultivated on Dong Ding Mountain in the area. Lugu Township is situated 7 km southeast of Mujiliao.
