Mengla is a county in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, in southern Yunnan Province, China. Situated along the border with Laos and Myanmar, it is a gateway to the tropical landscapes and rich ethnic minority cultures of southwest China, featuring rainforest parks, rivers, botanical gardens, tea areas, and traditional Dai and other minority communities.
