Maerkang
Barkam or Maerkang or Muerkvua is a county-level city in Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, in the northwest part of Sichuan province, China. The city seat is the town of Barkam. As of the 2010 Chinese Census, Barkam has a population of 58,437.Places in the Area

Barkam is the prefectural capital of Aba Tibetan & Qiang Autonomous Prefecture. It is also known as Ma'erkang. The population is largely Han Chinese, although there are also Tibetans living in town and passing through.
